168 Litre Two-Part Auxiliary Tank: For the Ultimate Adventure

For the true adventurer, Brown Davis offers the two-part 168-litre auxiliary tank, designed for the most extreme expeditions. This options consists of the 105 litre tank, but ads a smaller 65 litre tank behind it for a total of 168 litres. This larger setup offers serious off-road enthusiasts the ultimate range, ensuring you can tackle the most remote regions with confidence. Whether you’re crossing deserts, climbing mountains, or venturing through the bush, the combined 168-litres provides a huge capacity, pushing your Grenadier Quartermaster’s fuel range to an impressive level.

Seamless Integration & Installation

Both tanks are designed to be fully integrated into the vehicle, transferring fuel directly into the main tank, allowing for easy management of fuel levels. Brown Davis has ensured that each system comes with all the necessary hardware and parts required for a full installation, making the upgrade process as smooth as possible.

Vehicle Spare Wheel Removal: To accommodate the larger tanks, the vehicle’s spare wheel will need to be removed, creating the perfect space for installation.
Tanks for Tray Vehicles: For those with aftermarket tray setups, a standalone filler can be installed, allowing for added convenience and flexibility. (NOT SUPPLIED)
Compatibility with Standard Tubs: Tanks are supplied with a new dual neck filler, allowing you to utilise fast flow diesel pumps. Hoses to suit vehicles with standard tubs are supplied, ensuring compatibility across a wide range of setups.

Fuel Feed System

FUEL TRANSFER SYSTEM

This system is designed to pump the fuel from the Brown Davis auxiliary fuel tank into the vehicles standard fuel tank. At the flick of a switch fuel will be pumped into your vehicles standard tank to then be feed to the engine. An LED gauge is supplied to show driver the fuel level of the auxiliary fuel tank at all times. When the auxiliary tank becomes empty an automatic alarm will sound to tell driver to switch pump system off. This prevents pump from continuously running which can course pump failure. All parts and hardware for install are supplied

Fuel pumps burning out is now a thing of the past. Brown Davis has developed a new auxiliary fuel tank gauge, switch and buzzer unit to be supplied with most Brown Davis auxiliary transfer fuel tanks. the small unit is no bigger then a 10 cent coin and can be mounted nicely in vehicles dashes.

The LED Gauge will show the auxiliary tank’s fuel level at all times, even when the pump is not running.

When the button is pressed, the fuel pump will commence transferring fuel from the auxiliary fuel tank to your vehicles main fuel tank. The round yellow LED light indicates that the pump is running.

As fuel is being transferred from the auxiliary to the main fuel tank, the LED light will indicate the fuel level remaining within the Brown Davis auxiliary fuel tank. At any stage, the fuel pump activator button on the gauge can be pressed to stop the transfer of fuel.

When the auxiliary fuel tank is empty, a buzzer will sound prompting the driver to turn the fuel pump off. This is designed to prevent the fuel pump from any damage and increase its longevity.
