Clearview Swing Boards take a different approach to traditional electric side steps. Instead of merely dropping straight down, forcing the passenger to step awkwardly close to the sill, (often twisting their knee or ankle to hoist themselves inside), these boards utilise an innovative “swing” motion. When the door sensor triggers the mechanism, the board swings outward and lowers into position simultaneously.
This arced movement places the step further away from the vehicle body, creating a true “staircase” effect rather than a ladder-climb sensation. By positioning the stepping platform further out, the board meets your foot where it naturally falls, allowing for a fluid, forward-momentum entry into the cabin.
